LUNCHTIME CONCERTS AT THE ORATORY OF ST. FRANCIS
Enjoy forty minutes of enchanting classical music at the charming 17th century Oratory of St. Francis in Republic Street, Valletta! These increasingly popular lunchtime concerts are held every Tuesday and Friday at 12:30 pm and these performances present some of the best talents to be found in Malta. The performers and programmes are always varied from one event to another.
The baroque Oratory, which hosts the performances, is an exquisite venue, which complements the fine music. The events are also fund raising events for the Franciscan Church. The Lord Bless You
Silvio Zammit (flute) and Ramona Zammit Formosa (piano) will present performance reflecting a sacred and sober repertoire. The duo are established musicians who have extensive professional experience in performance and in their extensive musical repertoire. They are regular musicians at the Oratory of St. Francis lunchtime concerts, delighting our audience with their wonderful performance and presentations.
The flute and piano performance will include some of the baroque works of Handel, Bach and Albinoni, as one can see from the programme below:
